Meet Our Staff
Brian Koehler, President
Brian was born and raised in Ainsworth Iowa on a farm he still calls home to this day. He has known co owner Kurt Kucera since they were kids, even playing in a rock band together at one point (still do sometimes)!In 2005 the two friends decided it was time to stop working for someone else, make their own decisions, and do what they love to do. They started Powercom Motor Control Corporation and have been powering forward ever since. Brian has 20 years of industrial tech experience, including 15 years as a residential electrician, and 2 years in a motor shop. His goal is to be able to pass the business on to his children one day and retire to the place he loves the most – his farm.

Kurt Kucera, Co Owner
Kurt lived most of his life on a farm in Riverside, Iowa. He is affectionately known to his family and friends as “The King” for too many reasons to count. Kurt has 15 years of experience in both residential and commercial construction, a few years of doing fabrication in an auto body shop, and is our resident “go to” guy. Whenever something needs fixed, replaced, removed or just old fashioned tinkered with, Kurt is definitely “The King”! He handles the mechanics of this business all day every day!

Cody Conrad, Programer
Meet Cody Conrad, one of our programers here at Powercom. He likes the atmosphere here because projects are always changing. He enjoys “tinkering” with things, and likes the hint of danger with every project. Every customer is different and he enjoys the unique challenges. Outside of work Cody enjoys spending time with his 11 month old son, Talon. He enjoys the family life. You might even see Cody out at the skate park from time to time doing an ollie or a half pipe. If Cody happens to come to your site say hello!

Office Manager, Cassidy Frost
Cassidy is the newest member to the Powercom team. She will be
replacing Michelle and manage our hectic office. Cassidy was born and
raised in Washington County and met the love of her life, Tony, at a
local celebration called "Whoopee" Days! One thing led to another and
they now have 2 children, Gabriel and Grayson.
Cassidy will be a great asset to our team here at Powercom. She has a
degree in Applied Science in Business Management. (We are hoping she
can manage Mini Michelle). She is eager to help you any way she can if
you call us!
